ruthjamison: getting upset over the lack of civil rights coverage in mad men is what's stupid. POC will never be as relevant to the central characters' lives as the (white) women are. they're not marrying/divorcing them, having their babies, writing copy, etc. mad men revolves around affluent caucasians. people of color will NEVER factor in on a grand scale. it's a sign of the times, so why get mad? it'd be like me, an asian-american, getting pissed over the 'chinamen' in pete's office. it's so pointless!
