“I am just one of those cosy people at home but it is fun getting dressed up but I really have no idea what I look like. If I have a fashion disaster it normally takes someone else telling me I’ve had a fashion disaster!”
Hendricks has previously revealed she would rather be at home in her pajamas than at an awards show.
“It is fun to dress up and do the whole glam thing but if I’m honest I’d much rather be lying on the couch with my pajamas on with all my girlfriends — especially for the Oscars,” she said.

| Michael Ginsberg: | That was a bold last-minute decision—going with your idea. |
| Don Draper: | I thought it was more what they wanted. |
| Michael Ginsberg: | Well, we’ll never know, will we? Because they never heard mine. |
| Don Draper: | Look, I don’t like going in with two ideas. It’s weak. |
| Michael Ginsberg: | And you don’t wanna be weak, so, you picked yours. |
| Don Draper: | And they bought it. Which is our goal, isn’t it. |
| Michael Ginsberg: | What do I care? I got a million of ’em. A million. |
| Don Draper: | Good. I guess I’m lucky you work for me. |
| Michael Ginsberg: | I feel bad for you. |
| Don Draper: | I don’t think about you at all. |

“I think Ken and Peggy have this really interesting, sweet relationship. They’ve always gotten along, they’ve always helped each other, and they’ve kind of been two of the only characters who’ve never had a problem, really. She just sort of respects the idea that he’s doing something outside of the office, even though she makes fun of him for it. It’s a really sweet scene near the end when he decides he’s not going to write anymore. I think she really feels like her heart goes out to him in that sense because I think she admires that he has this creative side to him and is disappointed to see that he’s not going to keep going with it.” -Elisabeth Moss

“Well, it’s like you’re way out in the ocean. Alone. And you’re paddling. You see people on the shore, but they’re getting farther and farther away. And you struggle because it’s natural. Then your mind wanders back to everything normal: What am I gonna fix for dinner? Did I lock the backdoor? Then you just get so tired you just give in, and hope you go straight down.”
| Ad Age: | What's something people should know about Matthew Weiner? |
| Mr. Kartheiser: | He's incredibly loving. He's someone who can know you for two hours and probably know more about you than most of your friends just through his observational skills. He's a very observant person and he sees to the heart of people and sees what really matters to them and does it very quickly. It's quite frightening actually. |
