Mad Men fans will recognize Sam Page for playing the man lucky enough to win the affection of Christina Hendricks’ Joan Harris for a few seasons. Of course, we all know how that turned out. Since playing Greg Harris on the AMC drama, Page has also appeared in ABC Family series Switched at Birth and Lifetime’s The Client List. And coming soon, we’ll see him on ABC’s freshman drama Last Resort.
Last Resort follows the crew of a U.S. military nuclear submarine who are fired upon by their own government after questioning orders to fire their nukes. Left to fight for survival, they take shelter on a nearby island and are now enemies of their own country. One of the stateside story arcs has Autumn Reeser’s character Kylie, a lobbyist for her family’s weapons company, snooping around the submarine situation because a prototype of a device her company has made was aboard the USS Colorado when it was attacked.
TVLine reports that Sam Page has been cast to play the role of Connor, Kylie’s entitled older brother. His episode is set to air December 6 and the role may end up being recurring. There aren’t many details about how he fits into the story, but described as “entitled,” I have to wonder how involved Connor is in the family business, and whether he will have any direct involvement in the investigation. Maybe Kylie will look to him for help with it in some way.
As mentioned, Page has appeared in Mad Men and Switched at Birth. Going back a bit further, his credits include Greek, Gossip Girl and Desperate Housewives.
